March 18th was a weird day. I was in Nova Scotia to visit Mom in the hospital at the time. Early days of Covid. Working on packing up Mom’s place. Still working my job during the days. Lots going on. When I woke up on the 18th, I did not feel good. Chest was fluttery. Felt like I was going to feint. Wasn’t sure what was happening but my Apple Watch told me I had signs of a-fib. Waited an hour. Tried again and same result. Went to emergency just to be safe since I hadn’t experienced this before. Everything turned out fine and returned to normal on its own. Not that the Apple Watch saved my life or anything but sure came in handy to identify what was happening. This is what the Watch reported. What will future wearable devices be able to do?
